My name is Grover. I was found by a nice family at the Grover Cleveland Rest Stop on the New Jersey Turnpike. I wandered over to them looking for love and some food. They couldn’t keep me so they called SAVE. I had to go to the vet several times after SAVE rescued me because I had been hit by a car recently and my leg needed to be taken care of. The vet says I was probably hit by a car before that, too, as I had a healed fracture. Today I am a little wobbly but otherwise perfectly healthy. I am very sweet and love people. I can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up I don’t want to get off your lap or stop purring. I am so happy to be off the streets and have a nice place to stay, but I had such a rough start to life and I would love a second chance and a nice family of my own. Please be that family.
