Athena came to us through a desperate call from a man who said his dad was gone and Athena was left behind. He tried to take in Athena, but his dog wasn't accepting and he was afraid the dog would really hurt her. She is a shy girl, but she is coming around with the love and patience of our volunteers. She is in our main cat roaming room, cohabiting just fine with the other cats.
