Poor Luca has never had a stable home environment. When he originally came to us, he weighed about 30 lbs. He was living in a home with 5 dogs whom he didn’t get along with and he was super stressed. Luca's owners no longer wanted him and were going to throw him outside, but a Good Samaritan took him in and contacted us. He went into a foster where his food intake could be monitored, and he lost weight. He was adopted in December, but unfortunately the family called us in June to say they were moving and wouldn’t be taking him with them. Luca is back to his original weight, and will need his food intake monitored. He is healthy, loves attention, to be pet, looking out the window, and batting the cat wand!
