Please Read-Important Information

 *All fosters must be local since we need to work closely together for Vet visit's, supply drop off's and potential adopters to view.

*S.A.V.E. will not allow animals with communicable diseases to be fostered.

*S.A.V.E. will make provisions for all medical services and will reimburse for all reasonable supplies. We ask you call us before purchasing anything or calling a Vet.

*Animals are only fostered on a temporary basis until they are weaned or medically cleared to be found a permanent home.

*All adopters must follow S.A.V.E.'s adoption procedures.

*If you have children they need to be old enough and responsible enough to respect an animal.

*Cat's/kittens must be kept indoors. Dogs/puppies must be leached when outdoors or in an enclosed area.

*The area the animal is to be kept must be suitable. Example: Free of clutter, debris and garbage. Area must be heated /free of drafts or in the summer kept cool. Area should be quiet and isolated from all other animals in home.

*If you have other pets, S.A.V.E. requests proof stating your animals are UTD on shots.  Please note: If your animal is UTD on vaccines and the foster is kept isolated from your pets there should not be any cross contamination should the foster become sick in your care. S.A.V.E. cannot be responsible for any medical expenses incurred by cross contamination. However, S.A.V.E. will try to help and assist if funds are available.

*Even though we do not recommend fosters keeping the pet for themselves because it might be difficult to foster again and fosters are precious to us. They do have the first rights for adoption as long as they follow S.A.V.E. adoption procedure.

*In any emergency situation contact S.A.V.E. and we will immediately pick up the animal.
